Hopscotch is adding a loyalty tier for small businesses — digital punch cards and rewards that live inside the wallet your local customers are already using. No POS integration. No second app to install. No setup fees.
One email when your city opens. No spam, no sales calls.
How it works
10-minute setup in the dashboard. Design your punch card or rewards program, set the rules, and you're live.
Display at your counter. The code rotates every 60 seconds — anyone who photographs it for later gets nothing.
Fraud-resistantCustomers scan with Hopscotch, rewards track automatically, you see it in your dashboard.
What makes this different
QR code at your counter is the only interface. If you can print a sign, you can run this.
Every other loyalty tool asks you to recruit customers into a new app. Hopscotch users are already organized around loyalty cards here. You're publishing into an existing behavior.
Push a "double punches today" offer to customers when they're physically near your store. The geofencing that prevents fraud also enables targeted, contextual offers.
Security
A static QR code on a counter is an obvious target — someone photographs it, shares it, and now anyone can farm punches without ever walking into your store. Hopscotch's architecture closes those loopholes by design.
Your displayed code refreshes every 60 seconds. A photo someone took yesterday won't work today. Screenshots stop working within a minute.
Customers can only earn a punch if their phone is physically within your business's geofence. Remote scans fail server-side validation.
A single customer can only earn one punch per location every few hours (configurable by you). Eliminates the "scan it five times for five punches" exploit.
The QR doesn't just contain your business ID — it carries a signed session token. Every scan is validated server-side before a punch is granted. No client-side bypass.
Impossible scenarios — like the same customer earning punches in five cities in ten minutes — get flagged automatically. You see the report; we never lock out a real customer over a false positive.
Stripe handles your subscription. We never see your business's payment card details. Customers don't enter cards in Hopscotch either.

Honest expectations
A loyalty program only works for you if enough Hopscotch users walk through your door. We won't sell into your market until we have enough consumer adoption there to make the program genuinely useful from day one.
